Looking at 2021 feels less apocalyptic than its predecessor, it has definitely brought its own set of challenges. For many people, 2021 has been an extension of 2020 prior to bringing a great deal of relief for others. Reflecting on the past 12 months, 2021 will certainly be remembered as a year of vaccine, recovery and staying strong. The world is gradually coming out of these crises as we step in the new year. We are waiting to welcome a new year with great positivity and an open heart, so this is the time everyone needs to forget the past and concentrate on their lives and goals.

Long Beach Memorial has introduced the use of VR to young patients going through painful medical treatment to distract them. This process has enabled many teens and children to go through painful medical processes less painfully.


Children need more than medicine. We usually play to normalize the environment for pediatric patients,” said Rita Goshat, director of the Memorial’s Children’s Life Program. .. “Our role is to help patients comfort and distract during procedures that cause discomfort and anxiety.”* VR goggles have proved especially beneficial before and during minor medical procedures and tests. Five VR headsets are donated by Starlight to the Memorial Medical Center—each with 12 scenes and interactive games.**

RingCentral: How to Add Extensions

RingCentral is a cloud-based phone system that helps in secure phone hosting and Internet fax functionality for your corporate use. The intelligent system eliminates the purpose of costly and complex office hardware and enables you to use your smartphone, tablet, computer or dedicated hardware to make and receive calls, giving your customers the idea that you are in a traditional workplace. whether you work remotely.


Extensions in RingCentral are the same as they are on telephone system. The individual handset is assigned to users and they can access their assigned extension to use the RingCentral features independently while staying connected to the admin. 

1. Log in as an admin to your RingCentral account.
2. Navigate to Users > User List > Users with Extensions.
3. Click Add User. The Add Users window appears.
4. Select a Location from the dropdown list in Office User type, then click Select. By default, location is based on the home country of the account.
5. Fill in the basic information about the user. Require unique email IDs is checked by default. You can uncheck it if you don’t want this option. 
6. If you’d like to add more users, enter the number on the field provided, then click Add. You can add up to 24 more users (25 users at a time).
7. Under Phone, RingCentral Phone app is selected by default. Click Select under Number. Select a number from the Number Inventory tab, which has the numbers reserved for their account. Click New Numbers to assign a number. Select the State, Area Code, and a number. Click Done. 
8. Click Next.

Zoho CRM Tip: Reports

Zoho CRM reports are the detailed and informative list of records. Each report provides access to important data required for various purposes. In Zoho CRM, standard reports are provided in various modules, which can be either used as it is or customized further as per your business requirements.


There are various reports that are already set up as default in Zoho. Your supervisors may be requesting more reports to track the items they are interested in such as the amount of Activity on Leads and things like that. You can also make your own reports. They are created in a similar way to views but are more flexible because you can combine more than one module together. The reports will become most useful when your supervisors create the reports, they are interested in. You can track those reports and even schedule them to be delivered to you via email. You can keep track of your progress on your supervisor’s reports.


Creating a Report :

  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. In the Reports Home page, click Create Report.

  3. In the Create Report page, do the following:

    • Select the primary module from the drop-down list.
    • Select the cross-functional modules from the Related Modules list box.
      You can use the fields from the Related Modules in defining the criteria, in adding columns in your report and select columns to total.
  4. Click Continue.

Go to this folder called ‘Scheduled Reports’ to schedule the reports to be emailed to you on a regular schedule.

Click on the ‘New Report’ button on top right corner to set up a new Report Schedule.

Opening a Report :

Open a report. You can export it to Excel, CSV or PDF. You can edit the report by clicking the Edit button.

You can filter the report based on any date in the report modules.
