DDS Celebrates International Women’s Day – March 8, 2021
At Delta Data Services LLC (DDS), we are celebrating International Women’s Day. We want to challenge and encourage all our supporters to find ways to promote equality and fight against gender bias. We celebrate all the women all over the world who are working toward a better future for all and we celebrate the amazing women in our past, present and future.
Fittingly, last night, my daughter and I read the children’s book, ‘She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World‘ by Chelsea Clinton and illustrated by Alexandra Boiger. The women celebrated in the book were:

- Ruby Bridges
- Margaret Chase SMith
- Sally Ride
- Florence Griffith JOyner

- Sonia Sotomayor
I love reading this book to my daughter and remembering why it is important not to listen to people who tell women ‘no’. Instead amazing women always continue to pursue their vision, dreams and calling in this world regardless of the doubters and naysayers. What an inspiring list of women who I admire and who inspire me to achieve DDS’ own vision to solve problems on the global level using resources and talents on our local level.
